CFS 153 - Research Methods Prerequisite: CFS 31 or CFS 39 or PSYCH 101 Scientific approach to the study of children and families. Topics include sampling, measurement, study design, and statistics. Emphasizes understanding the process of scientific discovery, clearly distinguishing it from non-science and pseudoscience, and learning to accurately interpret and evaluate research.
