COUN 234D - Psychopharmacology

Prerequisite: COUN 232; REHAB 204A or REHAB 204B
This course will provide a general working knowledge of psychopharmacology for mental health professionals. The course will cover the biological basis for psychopharmacolgical treatment, principles of psychopharmacological treatment, and clinical psychopharmacology which is the effect on client behavior of psychotropic medications in the treatment of mental and emotional disorders.
