Prerequisite: BIOL 1A, BIOL 1B/BIOL 1BL, CHEM 8 or CHEM 128A or BIOL 11, and CHEM 150
Emphasis on prokaryotes (bacteria); microbial physiology, genetics, ecology, classification, and identification; applications of microbiology. Prerequisite to most upper-division microbiology courses.
