Prerequisite: grade of C or better in Tier One and Tier Two courses (SOC 1 or SOC 1S, SOC 3 or SOC 3S, SOC 125, and SOC 130W/SOC 130WS); open only to Sociology majors and Sociology minors
Evolution of classical sociological theories. Consideration of their origins in society and culture. Examination of such theorists as Marx, Weber, Durkheim, Simmel, Mead, and others
